Nordic Corner Access Tray (CAT)

Unique to NORDIC - the revolutionary C.A.T. shower tray with unique easy plumbing access through the special hatch in the corner. The Nordic Corner Access Tray has been developed to overcome the physical problems most commonly associated with installation and is particularly useful in cases of refurbishment. By providing an Access Hatch at the point where the waste pipe attaches to the waste fitting the problems of connecting these two together on installation are overcome and future blockages are easily cleared.
The optional anti-leak upstands prevent leakage usually caused by settlement of the floor supporting the tray.

Anti-leak Upstands

Most shower tray installations leak after the initial fitting, due to settlement taking place where the tiles meet the tray. Upstands simply stuck on by the plumber cannot guarantee a future non-leak situation. Nordic’s anti-leak upstands are factorybonded to the rim of the tray and are guaranteed not to tear away in even the worst conditions.

Waste & Trap

We strongly recommend the use of our 'combined' waste and trap fitting. The grill and baffle are removable from the top to give complete access for cleaning and rodding the waste pipe.

Flow Tested
Today’s power showers require rapid disposal of surface water. Nordic’s trays are flow tested with our 38mm (11⁄2") combined waste and trap fitting to pass 25 litres/min., and 30 litres/min. when plumbed to 50mm (2") pipe.

Nordic Safety Grip Shower Trays

Nordic Safety Grip shower trays are manufactured with a textured safety grip standing area, providing one of the finest non-slip surfaces of any tray in the market.

Access Shower Trays

              

With Safety Grip Tread Area
Nordic’s Access shower trays have all the design features of our standard range plus the added benefit of access through the base to the plumbing underneath.

The 'Access’ shower tray has been specifically designed to overcome the physical problems commonly associated with shower tray installation and is particularly useful in cases of refurbishment.

These problems are lack of access to plumbing, leakage and settlement.
By providing an Access hatch, levelling feet and anti-leak flanges these tiresome but all too frequent problems have been overcome.
