Abersoch Wales - Home sauna

Nordic Saunas & Steam Ltd are pleased to have installed a luxury sauna cabin into a home situated in North Wales. In addition to the usual refinements you would expect with a bespoke Nordic sauna cabin, the cabin includes a sliding door. Nordic is one of the few sauna companies in the UK to offer this space saving style of door.

Guildford College - Sauna & Steam room

Nordic Saunas & Steam Ltd have completed an installation of a commercial sauna and steam room to the Guildford college campus. The equipment is to be used by students giving them a practical insight into the benefits of sauna and steam room bathing. Park Villas - Luxury Steam shower

Nordic has completed a luxury steam shower installation in a mansion situated in west London. The steam room has the benefit of a bespoke fibre optic system, power shower and mixer. The steam room is beautifully finished in Italian glass mosaics. The steam is provided by a Mr Steam, steam generator. LOCOG Olympic test event – 6 saunas

Nordic Sauna & Steam is pleased to be supplying 6 Saunas into the ExCeL centre, East London. The Saunas are being used during the Olympic test event when sports such as Fencing, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Weightlifting and Wrestling will be showcased prior to the main event next year. Upon the completion of the event, the saunas will be taken down, stored and reused next year. Nordic is proud that the London Olympic organizing committee has chosen Nordic Saunas & Steam Ltd to supply these initial 6 saunas and a further 21 next year.

Beaconsfield

Nordic Saunas & Steam have been chosen by a major UK home builder to supply a complete steam room, tiled with luxury Villory & Boch tiles. The steam room is being installed into a Penthouse suite of a multi million pound new development in Beaconsfield. The steam room uses Mr. Steam's high quality steam generator to ensure a fast and reliable delivery of steam. The benches have been designed to maximise the visual aspect of the tiles and be comfortable to sit or lay on.

Cossington Street Sports Centre

Nordic installed two large Hidden Heater saunas, fitted side by side to give the appearance of one large sauna. The project was completed on time and on budget and featured hidden heater stoves.

Portavardie

Location - Argyll Scotland

A prestigious project in Argyll Scotland, consisting of 14 saunas supplied and installed at a marina complex. The project was split into 2 phases, the first being completed in 2010 and second in 2011.

All the saunas are installed in individual properties requiring various sized and shaped saunas. A selection of the saunas were fitted with porthole style windows to enhance the marina theme. The saunas were variously finished in cedar and spruce. Both of the saunas needed to be custom made to to fit into the areas provided and to meet the clients aspirations. The Saunas are the culmination of extensive design and consultation between Nordic and the clients design team.

Trevose

Nordic Saunas & Steam have fitted a luxury Cedar sauna cabin into a truly amazing home on the North Coast of Cornwall. With wonderful views over the Atlantic this sauna is sure to provide many years enjoyment. The cabin was supplied complete with a fibre optic light system, sound system and unique bench design. The sauna uses Nordic's Emotouch, touch screen to control both the sauna stove and the fibre optic system. The cabin was many months in the planning and represents a truly remarkable installation.

Romsey, Hampshire

During September Nordic Sauna & Steam have installed an unusual shaped sauna into a self build property in Romsey. The sauna cabin had to be designed to fit around structural columns in the pool hall, this was achieved with minimum fuss and on time. The sauna uses the DC9000 controls matched to a Thermat sauna stove to ensure a fast heat up time and long lasting performance.

Oxford

Nordic was contacted by a martial arts sports club in oxford that recently had a steam room fitted. The installation was substandard with many problems. Nordic was able to offer an affordable solution to overcome the problems using our exclusive benching sections. These were tiled in situ to complete the installation with Waxman tiles. The original problem was caused by flexing in the benches, the result of a inexperienced company undertaking the original project.

Nordic Saunas & Steam is delighted to have supplied 2 saunas and a Mr. Steam generator to Africa. The sauna's used Nordic's DC9000 controls matched to a Nordic Thermat sauna stove. As with any export project careful consideration need to be made with regard the packaging and documentation.

The sauna was handmade to a bespoke Five sided design using Cedar with boards running horizontal inside, the outside being tiled. Nordic Also supplied a Steam Generator to the client.

Nordic Saunas & Steam Ltd have successfully completed a challenging installation of a sauna into a listed property. Amongst the challenges was a very low ceiling and restricted access. With careful planning and site meetings the project was completed on time to the delight of the home owner. Nordic also provided a Mr. Steam, Steam generator to enable the conversion of an existing shower into a steam room.

Nordic Saunas & Steam was contacted by a private client who wished to add a sauna to their flat while it was being refurbished. The project called for a bespoke cabin that was handmade in our factory. Nordic completed the project within the time scale requested by the client to enable them to enjoy the sauna in the summer. Nordic also supplied a steam generator to the same client for installation into the master bathroom suite to create a steam room.

Luxury Tiled Steam Room

Location - South West London

Nordic Saunas & Steam was approached by a leading Architect to design and build a luxury steam room to compliment the refurbishment of a home in South West London. The design called for a curved roof section to create a cave like steam room. Nordic was able to design and craft the steam room and finally tile the room using gradient glass tiles. Nordic used a Mr. Steam, Steam generator to ensure the steam room reaches temperature and is reliable for the years ahead.

Large Cedar Party Sauna

Location - Oxfordshire

Nordic Saunas & Steam have successfully completed the supply and fit of a large luxury cedar sauna installation into a party room of a private house in Oxfordshire. The sauna incorporated an LCD Touch screen controller supplied by Nordic's sauna stove supplier, EOS werks of Germany. The sauna used panels that were handcrafted to suit the design and ensure a perfect fit.

Bespoke Sauna and Steam Room for Luxury Home

Nordic Saunas & Steam was contracted to supply a bespoke sauna and steam room package for a luxury new home in Penn. The project was initiated in 2007 when Nordic offered advise to the lead architect on the project. The house was finally ready for the sauna and steam room to be installed in late 2010 and handed over to the client in 2011. Along the way the project evolved at the behest of the client and Nordic was able to meet the demands and deliver the finished cabins to a delighted client.

Lancaster University

Location - Lancaster

Nordic Saunas and Steam worked with major construction company to supply a large commercial Hidden Heater Sauna and tiled steam room. The sauna was clad in Spruce, and incorporated a large window. The hidden heater adds peace of mind to the operator by separating the bathers from the sauna stove, reducing the chance of accidents happening.

The commercial tiled steam room was installed by Nordic to a design worked out in conjunction with a leading architectural practice. The steam room features curved bench sections and a safe area for steam to enter the room, given further protection by the stylish glazed defuser that features in all Nordic Saunas & Steam's commercial projects.
